Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Running Script Calligraphy by Xiang Hanping was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in May 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 5,900.00 (€ 673.70), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xiang Hanping - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy in Running Script, which sold at auction in July 2020 for HKD 18,750.00 (€ 2,054.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Running Script Calligraphy von Xiang Hanping kam im Mai 2017 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 5.900,00 (€ 673,70) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Für andere Arbeiten von Xiang Hanping mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für HKD 18.750,00 (€ 2.054,31) versteigert wurde.
