Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2010 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Including Russian Art, which included the work Ragazza by Xavier Bueno. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,469.02) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Xavier Bueno have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self-Portrait Of The Artist At His Easel, Half-Length, Aged 32 in June 2020 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 55,066.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2010 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Including Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ragazza von Xavier Bueno zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.469,02) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xavier Bueno auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Self-Portrait Of The Artist At His Easel, Half-Length, Aged 32 im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 55.066,33).
