It achieved a price of EUR 26,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xavier Bueno - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Self-Portrait Of The Artist At His Easel, Half-Length, Aged 32, which sold at auction in June 2020 for GBP 50,000.00 (€ 55,066.33).
