Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bambina by Xavier Bueno was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Milan in May 2010. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 11,700.00 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Xavier Bueno have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self-Portrait Of The Artist At His Easel, Half-Length, Aged 32 in June 2020 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 55,066.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bambina von Xavier Bueno wurde im Mai 2010 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 11.700,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xavier Bueno auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Self-Portrait Of The Artist At His Easel, Half-Length, Aged 32 im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 55.066,33).
