Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2008 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Bambina by Xavier Bueno. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xavier Bueno have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self-Portrait Of The Artist At His Easel, Half-Length, Aged 32 in June 2020 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 55,066.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2008 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bambina von Xavier Bueno zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 10.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xavier Bueno auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Self-Portrait Of The Artist At His Easel, Half-Length, Aged 32 im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 55.066,33).
