Auction result well in line with expectations
The work American Spheres - Composition Sp 236 by Xanti Schawinsky was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in May 2007. The price achieved of EUR 4,560.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xanti Schawinsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ich in December 2019 with an auction result of EUR 40,000.00.

Die Arbeit American Spheres - Composition Sp 236 von Xanti Schawinsky wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.560,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
