The result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,414.70) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wynford Dewhurst - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blossom, which sold at auction in June 2000 for GBP 9,987.50 (€ 15,831.42).
