In June 2000 Christies in London held the auction 20C British Pictures, which included the work Blossom by Wynford Dewhurst. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,987.50 (€ 15,831.42), 66% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Blossom the most expensive artwork by Wynford Dewhurst that we have observed at auctions so far.
