Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (sacred fish larrakitj) height: 187.5cm (73 5/8in). by Wukun Wanambi was sold in the Important Australian Art auction at Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne in April 2021. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 5,166.00 (€ 4,294.26). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wukun Wanambi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2021 for AUD 15,990.00 (€ 13,291.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (sacred fish larrakitj) height: 187.5cm (73 5/8in). von Wukun Wanambi wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Important Australian Art bei Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 5.166,00 (€ 4.294,26) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Wukun Wanambi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2021 für AUD 15.990,00 (€ 13.291,77) versteigert wurde.
