Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy In Lishu by Wu Zifu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 50,400.00 (€ 5,396.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wu Zifu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 23,607.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Lishu von Wu Zifu kam im April 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.400,00 (€ 5.396,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wu Zifu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 23.607,16).
