The work Calligraphic Couplet in Clerical Script by Wu Zifu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 10,000.00 (€ 1,159.81), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Zifu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 23,607.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplet in Clerical Script von Wu Zifu kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 10.000,00 (€ 1.159,81) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Zifu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 23.607,16).
