Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape in Splashed-Ink by Wu Yueliu was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2016. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,616.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Wu Yueliu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2013 the work Waterfall was auctioned for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 10,536.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape in Splashed-Ink von Wu Yueliu wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.616,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Wu Yueliu konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2013 die Arbeit Waterfall für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 10.536,65) versteigert.
