Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rainy Landscape by Wu Shixian was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2019. The price achieved of USD 1,250 (€ 1,146) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as USD 800 - 1,600. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Shixian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in October 2009 with an auction result of HKD 237,500 (€ 20,764).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rainy Landscape von Wu Shixian kam im September 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.250 (€ 1.146) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800 – 1.600 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Shixian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im Oktober 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 237.500 (€ 20.764).
