Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2013 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Plum Blossoms In The Moonlight by Wu Shiwei. The price achieved of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 6,729.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Wu Shiwei have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2012 the work Blossoms was auctioned for HKD 93,750.00 (€ 9,134.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2013 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Plum Blossoms In The Moonlight von Wu Shiwei zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 6.729,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Wu Shiwei konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2012 die Arbeit Blossoms für HKD 93.750,00 (€ 9.134,76) versteigert.
