A top price for Wu Shiwei - as previously expected
The work Blossoms by Wu Shiwei was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2012. It changed hands for a price of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 9,134.76) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 75,000.00 – 95,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Blossoms is the most expensive artwork by Wu Shiwei that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Blossoms von Wu Shiwei wurde im April 2012 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 9.134,76) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 75.000,00 – 95.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Blossoms das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wu Shiwei, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
