Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape After Old Masters by Wu Guxiang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The price achieved of HKD 237,500.00 (€ 27,034.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Guxiang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scenery Of Jiangsu in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 3,700,000.00 (€ 436,732.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape After Old Masters von Wu Guxiang kam im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 237.500,00 (€ 27.034,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Guxiang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scenery Of Jiangsu im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.700.000,00 (€ 436.732,45).
