Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pine And Rock, 1915 by Wu Changshi was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in September 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 25,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 25,312.50 (€ 21,864.47) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Wu Changshi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March last year the work Immortal Peaches was auctioned for USD 27,812.50 (€ 25,072.12).

Die Arbeit Pine And Rock, 1915 von Wu Changshi kam im September 2021 bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 25.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 25.312,50 (€ 21.864,47) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
