Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2011 Sothebys in Milan held the auction COLLEZIONE CLAUDIA GIAN FERRARI, which included the work Peter Mc Gough Studio Williemsburg, Brooklyn, New York, 27 June 1995 (1995) E Altre 6 Simili by Wouter Deruytter. The price achieved of EUR 500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wouter Deruytter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Willem 2, 1988 in April 2010 with an auction result of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,638.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2011 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion COLLEZIONE CLAUDIA GIAN FERRARI durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peter Mc Gough Studio Williemsburg, Brooklyn, New York, 27 June 1995 (1995) E Altre 6 Simili von Wouter Deruytter zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wouter Deruytter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Willem 2, 1988 im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.638,25).
