Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Yellow Elk by Winold Reiss was sold in the Western Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year. The price achieved of USD 25,600.00 (€ 23,469.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Winold Reiss have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Offering To The Sun in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 150,000.00 (€ 133,558.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Yellow Elk von Winold Reiss wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Western Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.600,00 (€ 23.469,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Winold Reiss auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Offering To The Sun im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 150.000,00 (€ 133.558,90).
