Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Calf 39 x 26 in. framed 45 x 32 in. by Winold Reiss was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 101,175.00 (€ 98,009.30) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Winold Reiss have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2020 the work Offering To The Sun was auctioned for USD 150,000.00 (€ 133,558.90).

Die Arbeit Three Calf 39 x 26 in. framed 45 x 32 in. von Winold Reiss kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 101.175,00 (€ 98.009,30) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
