Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2004 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES, which included the work Roses, tulips, convulvulae, auriculas and cyclamen in a vase on a stone ledge by Winifred Walker. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 203.15 (€ 303.31). Other works by Winifred Walker have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 298.75 (€ 447.20) in March 2004 for the work Carnations, roses, daisies, tulips and other summer flowers in a vase on a ledge.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Roses, tulips, convulvulae, auriculas and cyclamen in a vase on a stone ledge von Winifred Walker zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 203,15 (€ 303,31) einen neuen Besitzer.
