Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2018 Christies in London held the auction Middle Eastern, Modern and Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Willy Aractingi. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,915.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Willy Aractingi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2019 the work Blue Panther was auctioned for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,898.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Middle Eastern, Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Willy Aractingi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.915,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Willy Aractingi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2019 die Arbeit Blue Panther für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.898,03) versteigert.
