Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Bonhams in Paris held the auction Scottish Art, which included the work Broomhill Bridge on the Spey by William Yorke MacGregor. The price achieved of GBP 358.40 (€ 411.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Yorke MacGregor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Sands of Morar in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 7,530.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Scottish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Broomhill Bridge on the Spey von William Yorke MacGregor zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 358,40 (€ 411,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Yorke MacGregor erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Sands of Morar im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 7.530,21).
