Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 53,760.00 (€ 49,284.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by William Wendt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Silence Of Night in June 2016 with an auction result of USD 286,000.00 (€ 259,245.83).

Die Arbeit Early Spring (Wildflowers Beneath Mount Rainier) von William Wendt kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Edinburgh zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 53.760,00 (€ 49.284,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden.
