Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 13,742.50 (€ 21,520.94). Admittedly, works by William Turner de Londe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fairground Scene in May 2013 with an auction result of GBP 76,900.00 (€ 89,908.11).
