Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 13,742.50 (€ 21,520.94). Admittedly, works by William Turner de Londe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fairground Scene in May 2013 with an auction result of GBP 76,900.00 (€ 89,908.11).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 13.742,50 (€ 21.520,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von William Turner de Londe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fairground Scene im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 76.900,00 (€ 89.908,11).
