Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Stark Lusters Last Stand In Blind Consideration, 1972 by William T. Wiley was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September 2021. The price achieved of USD 8,925.00 (€ 7,709.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William T. Wiley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ediface Complex, 1981, which sold at auction in June 2020 for USD 25,075.00 (€ 22,326.60).

Die Arbeit Stark Lusters Last Stand In Blind Consideration, 1972 von William T. Wiley wurde im September 2021 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.925,00 (€ 7.709,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von William T.
