It achieved a price of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,180.67), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 53%. Admittedly, works by William Prinsep have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Interior of the A-Ma (Ma Kok) temple, Macao in September 2008 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 23,707.48).

Die Arbeit Aden Harbour; and The Plain and Town von William Prinsep kam im September 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.180,67) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 53%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von William Prinsep auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Interior of the A-Ma (Ma Kok) temple, Macao im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 23.707,48).
