In March 2014 Christies in New York held the auction BARRY FRIEDMAN: THE ECLECTIC EYE Evening Sale and Day Sale, which included the work 'Antelope Trophy', 2000 by William Morris. The »bidding war« ended at USD 60,000.00 (€ 43,550.85), 20% above the upper estimate. With this result, 'Antelope Trophy', 2000 is even the most expensive work of art by William Morris that we have observed at auctions so far.
