Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Scottish Pictures: Edinburgh Assembly Rooms, which included the work Morven From Iona, Quiet Shores by William Mervyn Glass. It changed hands for a price of GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,663.25) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by William Mervyn Glass have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2007 the work The Monk Rocks, Iona was auctioned for GBP 10,200.00 (€ 14,934.11).

Im April 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Scottish Pictures: Edinburgh Assembly Rooms durch, in der auch die Arbeit Morven From Iona, Quiet Shores von William Mervyn Glass zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 6.600,00 (€ 9.663,25) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00.
