Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of USD 5,737.50 (€ 5,083.28) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Louis Otte - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Windswept, Carmel by the Sea, which sold at auction in November 2018 for USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,039.48).
