Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Feeding The Birds Outside Florian'S, St. Mark'S Square, Venice by William Logsdail was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 5,908.11) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Logsdail achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Gates Of The Khalifa, Cairo in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 200,000.00 (€ 231,985.66).

Die Arbeit Feeding The Birds Outside Florian'S, St. Mark'S Square, Venice von William Logsdail kam im Dezember 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 5.908,11) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
