Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Waiting For The Catch Below The Monastery At Vico, On The Neapolitan Coast by William Leighton Leitch was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2008. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,780.72). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Leighton Leitch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Villa of Lucullus At Miseneum in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 70,518.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Waiting For The Catch Below The Monastery At Vico, On The Neapolitan Coast von William Leighton Leitch kam im April 2008 bei Christies in London zur Auktion.
