Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & Early British Paintings, which included the work The Topsail Schooner Amy Stockdale Off Dover by William John Huggins. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,038.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00.
