Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2003 Christies in London held the auction The Irish Sale, which included the work A sketchbook of sixty-nine landscape and figure drawings including views of Epping Forest; Golden Hill, Loughton, Essex; Summer Hill and Appledore, Devon by William John Hennessy. The price achieved of GBP 2,270.50 (€ 3,163.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00.
