Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Bonhams in Paris held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Vue de Ioannina, 1844 by William James Müller. The price achieved of EUR 6,375.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by William James Müller have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Florence, A View Of The City And The River Arno From San Miniato in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 33,750.00 (€ 37,659.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vue de Ioannina, 1844 von William James Müller zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.375,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von William James Müller auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Florence, A View Of The City And The River Arno From San Miniato im Juli 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 33.750,00 (€ 37.659,82).
