Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Collections, Including Selected Items From The Estate of Lord Eden of Winton, which included the work Gillingham Church by William James Müller. The price achieved of GBP 243.20 (€ 283.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William James Müller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Florence, A View Of The City And The River Arno From San Miniato in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 33,750.00 (€ 37,659.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Collections, Including Selected Items From The Estate of Lord Eden of Winton durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gillingham Church von William James Müller zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 243,20 (€ 283,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William James Müller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Florence, A View Of The City And The River Arno From San Miniato im Juli 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 33.750,00 (€ 37.659,82).
