Auction result well in line with expectations
The work On the Great Plains and Heart of the Wilderness, from Heart of the West Series by William Herbert Dunton was sold in the Western Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,402.50 (€ 1,358.62) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Herbert Dunton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Texas of Old in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 881,000.00 (€ 566,195.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit On the Great Plains and Heart of the Wilderness, from Heart of the West Series von William Herbert Dunton wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Western Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert.
