The work A Group of Portraits 5 by William Herbert Dunton was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,470.21) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Herbert Dunton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Texas of Old in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 881,000.00 (€ 566,195.37).

Die Arbeit A Group of Portraits 5 von William Herbert Dunton kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 2.550,00 (€ 2.470,21) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
