The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 31,000.00 (€ 19,614.05) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by William Henry Dethlef Koerner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Posse in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 137,500.00 (€ 118,056.15).
