It changed hands for a price of USD 137,500.00 (€ 118,056.15) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Posse is the most expensive artwork by William Henry Dethlef Koerner that we have observed at auctions so far.
