In July 2013 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Four unframed pen and ink drawings including: A neat contraption for recovering collar studs; String accompaniment for the morning wash; Artistic way out of an awkward predicament; and The mothers help by William Heath Robinson. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,856.69), 67% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by William Heath Robinson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sane Economy of Space at a Wedding Reception in a Small Flat in April 2011 with an auction result of USD 17,500.00 (€ 11,807.57).

Im Juli 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Four unframed pen and ink drawings including: A neat contraption for recovering collar studs; String accompaniment for the morning wash; Artistic way out of an awkward predicament; and The mothers help von William Heath Robinson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.856,69) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von William Heath Robinson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sane Economy of Space at a Wedding Reception in a Small Flat im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 11.807,57).
