Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2013 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work A Finch Suspended From A Rope, A Partridge And A Kingfisher On A Partially Draped Stone Ledge by William Gouw Ferguson. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,250.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.250,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00.
