The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,125.00 (€ 905.21) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Dawson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cowboy, 1976 in January 2018 with an auction result of USD 11,250.00 (€ 9,052.14).
