The work Vallée d'Ossau, Pyrenees, France by Clarkson Stanfield was sold in the Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours auction at Christies in London in July 2018. The result of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,242.44) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Clarkson Stanfield achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Castle Cornet, Guernsey in May 2004 with an auction result of GBP 35,850.00 (€ 53,788.20).

Die Arbeit Vallée d'Ossau, Pyrenees, France von Clarkson Stanfield wurde im Juli 2018 in der Auktion Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.242,44) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Clarkson Stanfield erzielen.
