This artwork by William Callow achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in April this year. In the Home & Interiors auction, the work A view of Bellagio, Lake Como sold for GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,196.79) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Callow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Dogana, Venice, Sunrise in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 59,410.40).

Dieses Kunstwerk von William Callow erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Home & Interiors wurde die Arbeit A view of Bellagio, Lake Como für GBP 2.805,00 (€ 3.196,79) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Callow erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Dogana, Venice, Sunrise im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 59.410,40).
