In March 2001 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Haymakers beside the river by William H. Bradley. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,527.50 (€ 2,464.77). With this result, Haymakers beside the river is even the most expensive work of art by William H. Bradley that we have observed at auctions so far.
