Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work La Grappe De Raisin (Première Réduction) by William-Adolphe Bouguereau. The price achieved of USD 81,250.00 (€ 72,344.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William-Adolphe Bouguereau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Jeunesse De Bacchus in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 20,766,000.00 (€ 18,625,885.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Grappe De Raisin (Première Réduction) von William-Adolphe Bouguereau zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 72.344,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William-Adolphe Bouguereau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Jeunesse De Bacchus im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.766.000,00 (€ 18.625.885,73).
