Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work At the meadow by William Banks Fortescue for SEK 28,000.00 (€ 3,196.08). This price was achieved in the auction The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by William Banks Fortescue have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Putting In Broccoli Plants, Cornwall in February 2019 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,330.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit At the meadow von William Banks Fortescue für SEK 28.000,00 (€ 3.196,08) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00.
