Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2000 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES WATERCOLOURS DRAWINGS AND COPIES AFTER OLD MASTERS, which included the work Heksendans - Witches' dance by Willem van Konijnenburg. The price achieved of NLG 1,755.30 (€ 809.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem van Konijnenburg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rituele dans: a ritual dance in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 22,500.00.

Im September 2000 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS DRAWINGS AND COPIES AFTER OLD MASTERS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Heksendans - Witches' dance von Willem van Konijnenburg zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 1.755,30 (€ 809,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willem van Konijnenburg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rituele dans: a ritual dance im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.500,00.
