In October 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master and Early British Paintings, which included the work A Panoramic Landscape With Herders And Their Cattle In The Foreground by Willem Romeyn. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Willem Romeyn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Shepherds Tending A Herd Of Sheep And Cattle, which sold at auction in July 2008 for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,911.04).
